After World War II, in 1947, Enzo Ferrari established Ferrari S.p.A., an independent automobile manufacturing company, based in Maranello, Italy. The company began producing road cars, and their first vehicle was the Ferrari 125 S, powered by a V12 engine. From there, Ferrari continued to develop high-performance sports cars and became synonymous with luxury, speed, and elegance.

Enzo Ferrari remained at the helm of the company until his passing on August 14, 1988. His legacy continues to shape the automotive industry, and Ferrari remains one of the most prestigious and iconic automobile manufacturers in the world.
